My name is not printed on your ballot

To vote for me, you have to write me in

1
Find the U.S. Senate section of your ballot and look for the write-in line at the bottom of the candidate list.

2
Write Heather McElwain on that line. Print it clearly — it has to be readable.

3
Fill in the oval next to the write-in line. Writing the name alone is not enough — the oval is what makes it count.

4
Alaska uses ranked choice. Rank the write-in line first if I am your first choice, then rank the others however you like.

Questions about your ballot? Check with the Alaska Division of Elections at elections.alaska.gov or call 1-866-952-8683.

I am a Wasilla mom of four. I am not a politician, and I am not trying to become one — I am offering honest service. Alaska does not need another career politician who treats a Senate seat as a lifelong job. We need someone who will show up for six years, do the work, and go home.

I know what it is to struggle, because I am struggling right now — just like a lot of Alaska families. The cost of living, the pressure on our schools, the daily fight to keep a household going. Those are not talking points to me. That is my week.

So here is what I will sign my name to. I will not trade stocks while in office. I will not take direction from any outside lobby. I will keep showing up for community service across this state. And I will not run for a second term.

This is a one-term contract with the people of Alaska.

Where I Stand

Four Commitments

I

Freedom
A warrant before any agency buys your location data. No federal dollars for mass license-plate tracking. No more endless wars. And a trade diploma that lets a kid who is ready go to work.

Freedom

II

Prosperity
Stop taxing the PFD — it was already your money. An ironclad Helium dividend. And cut the federal red tape that keeps a rural district from buying a school bus.

Prosperity

III

Alaska First
Ban wasteful trawling. Get shovels to the coastal villages going into the sea. Build the deep-draft ports. Decisions about Alaska, made closer to Alaskans.

Alaska First

IV

A One-Term Contract
One term, signed in public. No stock trading in office. No lobby money. And a commitment to keep showing up for community service across Alaska, not only where the cameras are.

The most useful thing you can do

Tell someone how to spell my name. My name is not printed on the ballot, so every vote I get is one a person had to write in on purpose. A conversation at work or at the rink is worth more to this campaign than anything money buys.
